The SPD-1 series is an optical to electrical signal converter for measurements or experiments. You only have to connect the SPD-1 to the input terminal of your electronic measuring system.

The SPD-2 will accept nearly 100% of the optical signal from 100 μm fiber with NA = 0.2. Simply connect the SPD-2 to the input terminal of an oscilloscope or a spectrum analyzer to observe the optical signal.

The SPD-3, equipped with a photodiode, has a very flat frequency response curve with different wavelengths. This curve allows the SPD-3 to convert a wide frequency range of visible light into an electrical signal. The SPD-3 is ideal for use with an oscilloscope or a spectrum analyzer to observe the optical signal.

The LPD-2 is a long wavelength O-to-E converter which accepts large 500 μm core fiber with NA = 0.25. Connecting the LPD-2 to an oscilloscope or a spectrum analyzer is a cost-effective way to change electronic instruments into optical instruments.
